Shadow work asks us to examine where we’ve been hurt in the past in order to gain better insight into how this pain has manifested into the versions of ourselves that we’re familiar with today. It causes us to ask questions like: when and where do I feel most insecure? And why? And: how have these insecurities manifested into the views about myself that I hold today?

For some context—I follow a mainly vegetarian diet and don’t eat meat. But recently I discovered the term plant-based, which seems like it’s less rigid and a bit more encompassing of things like seafood (which I really enjoy and eat occasionally), which is why I’ve chosen to use it here!
However, all of these recipes could easily fit into the diet that you do follow, like you could use meat instead of tofu or remove the cheese from the recipe, if you’re vegan. Overall, however, these recipes are one’s that I’ve been using for months now, that I throughout enjoy and are all good gut foods (for the most part) and leave you feeling energized and full.
